Miserable Mates

Well, last night was a huge disapointment. And I shall tell you why...

I was really looking foward to last night, I had about 4 rum and cokes in me and I was a little bit giggly but I wasn't drunk, at least I didn't think I was. I was all up for dancing the night away, I hadn't looked foward to a night out in a long while but it seems sometimes the ones you look foward to the most, turn out to be the worst. We got to Route 66 late because Bex had left the previous party she was at late. This meant that not only did she have to pay for parking (since I was one of the only people with change so I paid a third of it) but we also had to pay to get into route. It was a fiver to get into route (before 11 it was free) I was pissed off because I don't have money to spend on getting into clubs. I wasn't angry at Bex though, it's very hard to be angry at her and it was nice she gave us a lift. Bex had no money to get in either so I had to pay for her too. By this time I literally had no money left, I'd taken £30 with me and been left with nothing. I was not amused. £20 went to Marnie to pay for the airport taxi on the way back from our holiday (it will cost us £18 each) so now they both owe me money back.

Anyway despite having to pay I still wanted to have a good time and forget about it. When we got in and went upstairs to the VIP area Jo, Jo's sister, Kirsty, Yaz, Adam and Amy were there, all having a great time. I thought this was fantastic, the music was good, if a little cheesy but it was good stuff you could sing and dance to which is exactly what I like. Everyone was dancing apart from Alice and even Marnie (which confused me as Marn usually dances!). Alice in particular seemed to be being a miserable bitch. Anyway, Adam was really going for the dancing, he looked like a fool but I loved his sense of not caring and I danced with everyone there. I got a bit too involved and ended up hitting some guy who walked past me with my arm! Nothard, of course but I said sorry and he just winked at me and kept walking so he must have been cool with it. Jo and Yaz and that disappeared at one point and we didn't know where they were, Adam and Amy had to go home because Adam had to be up at 6 for work but I was gutted they left because they were having fun.

We finally found Jo and CO on the main dance floor but the dancing was interupted with a rather stupid eating contest. Anyway when that was over normal dancing resumed. Me and Bex were dancing with Alice who was literally stood there completly stationary. I'm not kidding she must have looked like a right twat because she was the only personon the dancefloor not dancing. It was annoying me because it was clear she wasn't having a good time and I couldn't understand why she couldn't just let go and have fun! Then all of a sudden Marnie was telling us we had to leave because Jo had left. I was really pissed off now. I said I was angry because I'd paid £5 to get in here and we'd been there and hour and half max. It was a fucking piss take! I know it's Jo's birthday and we have to do whatever she wants but I just wanted to dance and have fun and I couldn't understand why everyone else couldn't do the same? Jo kept disappearing so I didn't actually see her half the night anyway!

Bex said we could stay a little longer, just me and her but I knew everyone would hate us for staying so we left with the others. Now Alice and Marnie were convincing Jo to go to the Reg (a student bar) only because they love it! Which is what really pissed me off! Jo had no idea what to do and she was getting all emotional (I blame booze) saying that she couldn't hear anyone in the nightclub. Well what did you expect it to be like?! I knew this was her first time but come on girl! Duh! So reluctantly we all headed off to the Reg, Kirsty was nervous because she had problems in school and didn't want to see people from our old school there which I completly understood. Funny how that later Alice was calling Kirsty the bitch for not wanting to come to the Reg! Ha! At least she was enjoying herself at Route unlike you! I was really tempted to have a go at Alice that night.

I was a bit pissed off when we got to the Reg, I thought I was never going to cheer up but then the song Paradise City came on. One of my all time favourites. Me and Kirsty got up and started dancing and singing away. Then we went over to the bar to see Yaz and I was still singing and some really fat guy came and stood next to me and started singing really loudly along with me! He was a fucking legend! I love him, he was awesome! He knew how to have a good time! I wondered back over to where everyone was sat. I saw Alice was singing but as soon as I started singing too see stopped. Then it suddenly hit me. Does she think I'm an embarassment? I say this because she had moaned before when she went to a gig and Marn and Bex came, Marna dn Bex were dancing and Alice disaproved because they looked stupid and no one else was dancing. How horrible is that to think of your own friends?! How can your friends embarass you? Alice clearly worries too much about what other people think of her. When I'm out and about and people are singing and dancing with enthusiasm I love it! Like that random fat guy! So instead she makes herself look like a girl who doesn't know how to have fun. Her funeral I suppose. And she wonders why when she's out why Jess gets all the attention and not her. Because jess likes to have fun and clearly, you can't let go of yourself for a second and I think that's a real shame.

Jo's 18th

I couldn't really sleep last night either...I swear my brain is just refusing to sleep, to stop thinking for 5 minutes. I think too much. I over-think things and read into things way too much. I can't help it, I'm a woman, it's what we do. We think and worry. It gets very annoying but we can't help it.
Luke actually made a good point yesterday, he said "I feel sorry for you guys, women get all the shit from men", this is true. But we are used to it and just put up with it. What he was refering to in particular was how men shout things out to women in the street and stuff like that. But that statement he made can refer to many other things I think! Good job us females do put up with it eh? Otherwise men would be rather lonely...
I'm going out tonight for Jo's 18th birthday, she's booked the VIP spot in Route 66, the club I went to last time. Me, Marn, Bex and Alice aren't going until late though, because Bex is going to another party, leaving that one at about 10ish, then coming to Marnie's to take us to route in her car. Which is very nice of her, saves us taxi money. It's a good job the only one of us who can drive also doesn't drink! What luck! So I'm off to Marnies' at 8:30ish to drink rum and coke until Bex turns up! Alice should be round about that time too. Should be a laugh. Then by that time I will be all up for dancing the night away with Jo! Which must reminds me, I must write her card after I've finished this. Jo is hard to buy presents for, and she doesn't really like gifts anyway (so she says) so I thought I'd give her a fiver then she can buy what she wants. Tonight should be a right laugh though, can't wait. Got a new skirt to wear but I'm not sure if I have a top to go with it! I best do...

WTFBBQ

Went to a BBQ today round Alices. I made such an effort to look nice and I'm not sure why, but I'm guess it's always nice to feel pretty right? Anyway, as I walked to Alices some bloke came out of his house (he was doing decorating or something) but he was looking directly at me as I walked towards him. It was quite unnerving, especially as it was fairly windy today so I was holding down the sides of my dress so it didn't blow up. I was quite nervous I was gunna flash him! As I walked past him, his head followed me as I walked past! And he said "Alright", I didn't reply, I half-smiled at him and just kept walking. I always seem to attract weirdos! When I was walking back from the beach the other day some guy said "Good afternoon" to me as I walked past! I wouldn't mind if it was good looking younger men but they're always weird-looking middle aged men! Just my luck eh?
Anyway, not many people turned up to this BBQ, when I arrived Laura and Jess were there with Alice and that was it. Alice said a couple of people might be coming later. Alice had the house to herself until her brother came home in the evening but she had to charcoal, so me and alice walked to the shop and I helped her carry it home. Elliot and Josh arrived later, but I don't really speak to them as they're not interested in speaking to me, we have nothing in common so what's the point. And at this point I felt quite alone because they all knew each other really well and I was kinda on the outside of this little group.
Luckily Josh and Elliot left later and Bex, Luke and Sadie turned up. Bex is one of my best friends and I get on well with Luke (we used to be really close friends in school), I don't get to see much of him nowadays, I would like to see more of him. He doesn't really hang out with us because he doesn't get invited out, so Alice is going to invite him out more which is good! Then again she'll probably invite him out with her when she's out with her other group of friends...which she doesn't even seem to like since she bitches about some of them! Wish she hung out with me, Bex and Marn more! It also makes me wonder if my friends bitch out me behind my back, I mean they must, everyone does it right? It would be interesting to see what their real opinions are...I know Bex wouldn't bitch but I can imagine Marn and Alice do. Oh well, who cares!
Anyways it ended up just being me, alice, Bex, Luke and sadie until 10:15pm, Sadie wanted to go to the shop to buy booze so me and Bex decided to leave at that point because we were tired. But I did have many a laugh! Eugh, I went to bed about 1:15am last night and I couldn't sleep for over an hour! I had no idea why my brain was just too awake thinking about things...odd. Though I opened the window and that seemed to help so maybe I was just too hot...
Jo's 18th tomorrow, can't wait, it's going to be fun!!!

5 days to go....

I got waaaay too involved in Resident evil with Stewie this afternoon playing the Merc mode and before I knew it Marnie had turned up, I had forgotten I'd invited round Marnie and Bex to sort out holiday plans. So I said my goodbyes to Stew as Marnie walked into the music/gaming/general geek room. She was pretty amazed with our lair, guess she hadn't seen it in a while. We waited for Bex to turn up, who was an hour late! But I'm glad she was as I was busy. Marnie was also 45 minutes late so everything worked out well in the end. We discussed a few things. Turns out Marnie is going to book a taxi so we can get back from the airport, it's going to cost us £18 each, ouch. And as for the journey there? My dad will have to take us which he's not at all happy about (yes thank you dad for being SO helpful to your own daughter!). I hardly ask for anything from my parents so why is this such a big deal? We're going to pay him for petrol money. It does mean however, because our flight is at 10:15 and you have to be there 2 hours before, we'll be leaving about 6:30, meaning I'm going to have to get up at like 5:30! Great....I don't do mornings! And I won't be able to sleep the night before due to excitement/worry. Oh well, it has to be done and as long as we don't miss check-in, I don't mind. Got everything out of the way, just got packing to do which I'll do the day before. Can't wait.
Alice is hopefully having a Michael jackson BBQ/party tomorrow, woot! Is gunna be fun! Hopefully the gorgeous weather continues! I want to wear my summer dress because I haven't worn it yet.

College Mission.

Well today was a collosal waste of my valueable time. I walked into college on a crazy hot day! I met Jo and Laura on the way, we knocked for Alice but strangly she wasn't in. I suspect she was still in bed because we saw her later, which is discusting considering it was 2pm! But then again she didn't get to bed until 4 and that all sounds very familiar to me! Ahh good times...anyway, we proceeded to walk to college. When we got there it wasn't that clear what we had to do, we asked a fellow student who then told us we had to go to our tutors, get a form, get every teacher to sign it (even if we didn't owe them books) then go back to our tutor for them to sign it, go to library, go to the IT guys, then go to our divisional tutor (who sticks their nose into what you're planning to do after college) then finally get your money back! This took over 2 hours (including the time it took to walk to college and back), basically wasting my whole afternoon wondering around college in crazy hot weather. Yay. But at least I didn't do it alone, I went around with Jo so that was cool. And I walked home with Alice because Jo needed to stay a little longer. Interestingly, almost every teacher said how great Kingston was and they said I'd love it there, making me even more keen to get in! I better get the results I need!!!!
On a lighter note, Stewie texted me at about 8:20pm asking me when were we busting zombie heads. I hadn't had time for PS3 today so now was my chance! I got on at 9 and after dying a few time, he managed to help me with some ease. Which made me very happy as I don't think I could have done it alone, or at least, it would have taken me a fair while. We then got onto Wesker, Stew knew what to do, he went round and turned off all the lights. I'd figured out that we needed to wound him enough to inject him but it took a fair while. We were almost there then Stew got kicked from the game! Stupid fucking servers! And once a player is kicked, stupidly you can only re-invite them by exiting the game! But that would probably lose my current checkpoint! It's a bit of a screwy system, that's my only downside of Resi so far. Anyway, I decided to continue alone, I was sure I could do it by myself. And I did, I got him! And I thought that was it but oh no...Stew lied to me! That was not the last boss battle, it was too easy...
I got stuck on the last battle with Wes when he mutates. I kept running completly out of ammo so I couldn't shoot his weak spots! I thought, this is impossble! The level doesn't even give you any more ammo so what can you do. But luckily I realised I was doing it wrong...I ran up to him to try to use the stun rod after he'd been knocked back a bit and realised there's a prompt to restrain him. So I did whilst Sheva stabbed him to death and thank fuck that was the end!!!! Phew! I'm loving the unlocked outfits...Shevas' clubbin' gear?! Hilarious. Chris has never looked to hot in zebra...Going to try out the Merc bonus mode tomorrow and will probably replay the game as Sheva! What to get some of the easier trophies and possibly try and find the BSSA emblems, although apparently they are ridiculous to find unless you use a guide/watch youtube videos! I will see how much patience I have...

Strange dreams

I woke up to my phone ringing this morning...after the weirdest dream ever.
I dreamt it was my 19th birthday, I was dressed in red and black, red and black stripe jumper, black skirt and black boots. I have a pirate birthday hat on which stated it was my birthday on it. I was waiting outside my house for my family to return so we could go out for my birthday. Waiting with me was my sister and her friend, Lily. The phone rings. It's Alex, he says "well done" and I say, "Well done for what? Reaching 19 years?", it's a very strange conversation but I'm laughing away and such when a man approaches my sister because he can see I'm on the phone. I hear snippits of his conversation to her but all of a sudden she's unlocking the door to let him into the house! I put my phone down straight away and run inside the house after this man. He'd tricked my sister into letting him in so he can use the bathroom but really he's running to my fridge, going through it for food! This man is a small round midgit, very odd I know! So I grabbed him, picked him up and managed to carry him out of the house and throw him out (I literally threw him)! He feels like a bowling ball, very heavy. Just as I'm chucking him out of the house my family arrive back looking very confused and at that moment my phone rings again. This time my phone is actually ringing in real life which is what wakes me up. It's Jo, asking if I'm going into "the last day of college today". Now because I has just woken up from this very confusing dream, my brain was still confused about what exactly has just happened. So when I was speaking to Jo, I literally sounded half-asleep/stoned. I will have to explain to her why I sounded like such a weirdo on the phone later when I see her.
I will indeed be going into college for this leavers day, but only to hand my book back in and get my parents book deposit back (my mum thought I would be getting money back but I told her it was her money, why am I so damn honest?!). I also haven't paid for a trip I went on ages ago...oops. So I owe the college money, mind you, the book deposit is £40 I think so that will definatly cover it.
If anything exciting happens, I'll blog later, I just had to get down what my weird dream was about before I forgot it! I was also dreaming alot about Resident Evil 5...I've been playing it way too much...

Successful shopping!

Today didn't start off too well...my mum got annoyed with me because she announced last minute that we were going shopping and she was annoyed I wasn't ready. Well mum, I am not psychic, contrary to belief! Okay so I had mentioned that I needed to go shopping yesterday but she changes her mind so much I was not sure we were actually going! But apparently we were so I chucked on my shoes, grabbed a bag and left with my parents.
I only really needed to get euros but I thought I might as well look in H+M for any last minute summer clothes. I'm very glad I did now! I brought a skirt for a tenner, shorts for a fiver and a dress for £3! The dress is okay, bit tight on the chest area to be honest! But I'll take it for the holiday then give it to my little sister, she'll wear it more than me! I also got a top for £4 but my mum didn't check the size when picking it up for me, when I got home I realised it was size 16!!!! Twice my size! Oops! Will have to take it back and exchange it or get my money back.
I decided to get £250 worth of euros which came to about £285 euros, not bad! The pound has obviously got stronger against the euro...or is it the other way around? I never fully understand these things! Anyway I got a good deal so I don't care! So I owe my mum £250...which I'll have to take out of my savings account when I get back...ouch.
Been playing Resi most of the evening, my dad went to work and my mum went out so it was a good excuse to do nothing but play! I'm literally on the last section now chapter 6-3! It's such an amazing game. But I'm stuck, there's two fat men with machine guns and I always run out of weapons/ammo so I can't kill them! Sheva isn't much help as usual, I have asked Stew to help me, he said he will, so hopefully he can get me past that section! I really want to complete it! Now!!!!
I'm going on holiday in a week exactly! Getting to the airport isn't a problem, Bex's dad can give us a lift, though we'll have to leave really early! But we have no way of getting back! We'll have to get a train or taxi...which is going to cost alot :( sigh. One problem after another....
